- Q: When can I get an Ergonomic Evaluation?
- A: Within the first 90 calendar days of employment on the job or workstation reassignment for new or reassigned employees who work more than 60% at a video display terminal. See CUE Contract Article 8 (B.5): Health & Safety. www.cueunion.org
- Q: Need a computer workstation evaluation?
- A: Ask your supervisor, or your department safety coordinator.
- Q: How can I obtain a copy of my evaluation?
- A: Many departments automatically provide you with a copy of your evaluation. If you have not received one, you should ask for it. “The department shall provide a copy of the evaluation to you, UPON REQUEST, and issue a response to you within 60 calendar days following the ergonomic review.”See CUE Contract Article 8 (B.5): Health & Safety www.cueunion.org
- Q: What happens if the evaluator determines my workstation is set up incorrectly?
- A: Your department is responsible for making ergonomic modifications. Matching funds are available, contact Ergonomic @ Work at 510-642-8410 to find out how to apply.
- Q: Need training?
